In the tender embrace of a lupin field, Jeannie and Kelvin’s love story reached its pinnacle with a proposal that would forever inspire their journey to “I do.” Drawn to the enchanting allure of that momentous day, the couple knew that the lupin field would forever hold a special place in their hearts.
As they embarked on the exciting journey of planning their dream wedding, they couldn’t help but draw inspiration from the magical scene that unfolded amidst the blooming lupins. Their theme would mirror the whimsical boho charm that embraced them that day – a celebration brimming with natural elements, handcrafted details, and a touch of carefree elegance. The colours of the lupins – delicate purples, soft pinks, and vivid blues – would be interwoven throughout their wedding decor, infusing each element with the very essence of their love story.
Set against the backdrop of lush greenery, the venue served as the perfect canvas for their vision. The couple’s inspiration stemmed from the lupin fields of New Zealand, reflected in the carefully chosen blue/white delphinium, white roses, mini eucalyptus, baby blue eucalyptus, and blue thistle that adorned the ceremony area.
Meticulously crafted by their planner, the floral arrangements seamlessly transitioned from the aisle to become reception table centerpieces, ensuring no bloom went to waste. The reception area, illuminated by hanging string lights and candles, radiated a cozy yet dreamy ambiance.
What sets this celebration apart is the couple’s attention to detail. The invitations, designed by the bride’s talented maid of honor, Charmaine, became cherished memorabilia. Charmaine’s exquisite hand-sketch of Rosewood’s lobby entrance and a nod to the lupin theme set the tone for the event.
