Cherry and Derek’s wedding at the Peninsula Hong Kong was an intimate gathering, where family and friends gathered to witness their heartfelt ceremony and enjoy a delightful luncheon. As the day turned into night, the celebration continued with dinner and dancing, with the couple’s choice of peach, pink, and white roses and peonies adding a romantic touch to the ambiance. The addition of fairy lights at night elevated the atmosphere, casting an ethereal glow over the festivities, creating magical moments that will be treasured for years to come.
The bride’s decision to have their couple portrait session at the hotel instead of venturing elsewhere was not only practical but also brilliant from a photography standpoint. As the photographer, I applaud this choice, as it allowed for more time to capture stunning shots without the hassle of transportation logistics. This decision enabled us to focus on creativity and experimentation, resulting in truly remarkable photographs that beautifully captured the essence of their love and the elegant backdrop of the hotel. Ultimately, it was a win-win situation, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience for the couple while allowing us to craft memorable images that they will treasure for a lifetime.
