A Dreamy Monet Inspired Provence Wedding

Katie and Buck brought their closest family and friends to La Bastide de Laurence in Provence for a three-day destination wedding inspired by Monet, nature and the beauty of slow Provençal living.
For couples travelling from the worldwide to celebrate in France, Provence offers something difficult to recreate elsewhere: ancient stone, wild landscapes, lavender fields, long lunches, golden evening light and a sense of time moving just a little more slowly. This wedding embraced all of it, with Claude Monet and the Impressionist movement inspiring the painterly colour, natural textures and carefully considered details throughout the celebration. From the herbs embroidered into Katie Julia’s gown to the abundant garden florals and bespoke linens, every element was deeply personal and thoughtfully considered.
